President Norton honored by Girl Scouts

The Girl Scouts of Colorado inducted University of Northern Colorado President Kay Norton into the organization's 2009 Women of Distinction program.

Norton was among 20 honorees selected by their peers based on their community involvement.

She joins 348 women who have received the honor since the program's inception in 1997.

Norton and her fellow inductees will be publicly recognized at an event in their honor this fall in Denver.
