UNC PD receives grant

Thanks to a grant, the UNC Police Department will be able to better communicate.

The department was awarded a $68,000 grant by the Weld County E911 Authority Board for an update to its radio communication system.

The new multi-channel communications console provides an interface that allows seamless monitoring of campus and surrounding community emergency communications, enhancing the department's ability to communicate more efficiently with Weld County emergency services and providers.
