The University of Wyoming Cowboys stomped the University of Northern Colorado women's soccer team in a 3-0 shut out on Friday.

Wyoming scored early, under a minute into the game, and the Bears were never able to recover. Throughout the first half, the Cowboys were up by one.

In the second half, Wyoming scored its final two goals to secure the lead. Both goals were scored within 23 seconds of each other. The Bears were out-shot by the Cowboys 20-9.

Forward Teresa Prais led UNC's offense with five shots, three of which were on goal. Freshman goalie Heidi Owens started in net and made eight saves, but the three goals against her dropped her record down to 3-2-1 this season.

Up next for the Bears is a trip to the Air Force Academy to makeup a postponed game from early September. The game against the Falcons will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, followed by a home game on Friday at Jackson Field against Big Sky opponent Eastern Washington.
