The ballots for the Student Representative Council election have been counted, representatives have been chosen and seniors are coming to the end of what seems like an endless wave of projects and assignments, while barely holding off symptoms of senioritis.

When it comes to this point in the semester, with so many endings and new beginnings, it is difficult to avoid becoming caught-up in the thoughts of "what next?" After these last four years of college, what will I actually do and what will I actually need to be prepared for? Did everything I learn in all of those lectures actually apply to what I will be doing in a couple of months? There are answers to these questions, and all you have to do is find the right source.

Fortunately, for seniors throughout campus who may have caught themselves in the wave of senioritis, or for any student across the university who has tossed and turned over the question of "what is next," there is an opportunity to learn from other individuals that have been in the same position before.

Innovative Voices- "Your ideas, Your Success," will be at presented at noon Wednesday at the University Center in Columbine B. The event will give all students at the University of Northern Colorado the opportunity to interact with four entrepreneurs.

The panel will discuss topics such as starting your own business, networking, and finding where to start after graduation and challenges faced by women in entrepreneurship and in the general workplace.

Representatives from New Belgium Brewing and Energy Logic will also be at the event to lead discussion pertaining to sustainability and the significance of companies striving to go "green." Beyond the great information that will be shared, participants also have the opportunity to win prizes, including gift certificates and a 160 GB iPod Classic.

As you sit back and read about this unique opportunity on campus, you may think to yourself that you only have to stick it out for a couple more weeks, and then you will be a graduate of UNC and on the road to lifelong success. However, the reality of the matter is experts predict that individuals in our generation may change careers up to 15 to 20 times throughout our lifetime, and the truth is that we never stop learning.

Therefore, whether you are a nursing major, a history major or a management major, it is important to take the time to go to events such as Innovative Voices. Even if you only have two more weeks until you are finally free, remember that the journey that lies ahead will abound with ambiguity.

Take the time next Wednesday to learn more about entrepreneurship, networking, real world challenges and sustainability, because you never know where your journey will lead you.
