All year it has been brought to our attention that the University of Northern Colorado lacks tradition. Perhaps we haven't looked at the bigger picture. If you are willing to stay here until you graduate, then you have found some pride in being a Bear. Therefore, a tradition we should be proud of is holding an alma mater from UNC.
Beyond the week of finals and beyond everything turning green everywhere, you look and the burst of grills and intriguing barbeques officially mark the beginning of the long awaited summer. The smell of bratwursts, hamburgers and hot dogs roasting on a grill is unmatched, and the laughter that comes after the grill master singes his or her eyebrows, comes effortlessly with a smile.
