Volleyball team looks to conquer Big Sky

The University of Northern Colorado volleyball team prepares for yet another season competing in Division I athletics and coach Lyndsey Benson said she thinks this could be a championship year. "We certainly believe we can win the Big Sky Championship," she said.

Secondary relies on experience

The defense of the University of Northern Colorado football team returns seven starters, including three members of the secondary and captains Joe Kenney and Christian Sarmento. "This year we're going into it heads up and we're really excited to see what we can do with this defense," junior cornerback Quincy Wofford said.

Men's rugby team to crusade for championship

According to the University of Northern Colorado men's rugby players, their team has a viable chance at winning another Division II National Championship this year. "We have a lot of veterans coming back from last year," said Chris Devaney, president and senior flanker of the team.
