Shawn Yoho, a 20-year-old sophomore music major, died Thursday in a car accident in Utah.

The UNC campus community is mourning the loss of another student with the death of Shawn Yoho, 20, who died following a traffic accident Wednesday afternoon in Utah.

Yoho was transported to a Utah hospital and put on life support following the accident.  Multiple sources for The Mirror say he died Thursday evening.

He was a sophomore communication studies major from Aurora.

Yoho, a Christian musician, was traveling to California with his band when the accident occurred.

The other two people in the vehicle were transported to the hospital, where they were treated and released. Both are students at Aims Community College.

In the past 10 months, four University of Northern Colorado students have died. Ross Higuchi, a freshman, died on April 19 following an accident at the Delta Tau Delta fraternity house.
