UPC to host free laser tag games

By Staff Report
On March 29, 2012

The University Program Council's mission for UNC students, if they choose to accept it, is to sign up for a day of epic laser tag battles when the council presents Laser Battle Evolution.

Starting at noon April 14, the gymnasium in Butler-Hancock Hall at the University of Northern Colorado will turn into a dark battlefield as students are split up into teams of 16 for 10-minute laser tag games.

Students can sign up for 10 minute increments for one hour. Students who want to play on the same team as their friends need only to sign up for the same hour timeslot; teams will be created the day of the games.

There is no dress code, but UPC suggests students avoid flip-flops, skirts and white clothing.

There are 75 spots available for each hour, starting at noon and running through 4 p.m.

Competitors will be allowed to walk-in on the day of Laser Battle Evolution, but spots are not guaranteed. UPC will be securing spots online through 5 p.m. April 13.
