Men’s hoops advances to CIT final with win over Sam Houston State

Andre Spight had 40 points, five assists and four rebounds, Jordan Davis scored 18, and the UNC men’s basketball team beat Sam Houston State 99-80 in the quarterfinals of the CIT to advance to the championship.

The Bears erupted for 57 second-half points after holding as slim 42-39 halftime lead.
