Women’s basketball coach Kamie Ethridge leaving to take job at Washington State

University of Northern Colorado women’s basketball coach, Kamie Ethridge, is leaving the program to take the head coaching position at Washington State.

She will be replacing June Daugherty, who was fired in March after 11 years with the Cougars.

Ethridge led the UNC to its first NCAA tournament appearance — and a program-record 26 wins — in the 2017-18 season.
