The University of Northern Colorado’s Office of Information Management and Technology is working to get the university’s primary internet service stabilized after an issue occurred at 3 p.m. on Monday.
In an email to staff and students early Tuesday morning, Chief Information Officer Bret Naber explained how the equipment that provides UNC’s internet experienced a “significant failure” on Monday. As a result, the university is now operating on its backup equipment, and will continue to until the primary feed is restored.
According to Naber, the campus will be informed of ongoing updates and can expect to see slower internet and email services in the foreseeable future.
