In an article published yesterday morning, it was reported that the university would be firing employees as part of the recent cuts. It has been brought to staff's attention that this is not correct, as employees are being laid off rather than fired. Laid off employees will receive extended pay and benefits through January and be offered job placement assistance, according to an Oct. 17 email from President Andy Feinstein.
